Thanks & Giving (Back)

Thanksgiving is tomorrow.
I am thankful for so much in my life.
(These darlings are not my precious babies but they do wear Bibi Lane so well!)

Of course, there are days I struggle to remember I have very little if nothing to complain about.
My family has heartache, like everyone else.

Joy and hardships are always relative.

I am blessed two-fold this season:
My family, nor anyone I personally know, has been directly affected by Sandy,
and even in these hard economic times, my small, handmade business is growing.

To give back, in collaboration with other handmade shop owners, I am participating in this season's Handmade with Purpose project to benefit the American Red Cross with Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts.
Now through December, 20% of the sale of items marked 'Ready to Ship' from my shop will be donated to the American Red Cross. I am making every effort to add more items as quickly as I can.

We are all charged to care for one another.
Time.Talent.Treasure.
Everything counts, big and small.

If you're shopping, please take a few moments to check out the shops listed in the project for details on how your purchases will help others in need. You can visit my Etsy shop or the Handmade with Purpose blog for more information.

Thank you for your support and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
